A powerful and electrifying musical experience, Adam Schoenberg's Losing Earth Percussion Concerto grapples with climate change and is performed by Jacob Nissly, Principal Percussionist of the San Francisco Symphony and the one to whom the work was dedicated. Tailored to Nissly’s strengths as a virtuoso percussionist, the work also explores some unexpected aspects of percussion technique.
